Hi! I'm laptitelili, I'm French, and the Children's Cotton Hat is my first knit from the book Last Minute Knitted Gift. I used a dicontinued yarn of Bergère de France (Cotonature), and I omited to do the I-cord, because the hat is a gift for a little boy. It was indeed really fast to knit!

That is a very pretty hat! I love it! I have made many many hats from that pattern for boys and girls. A great idea is to use to baby kimono pattern from Mason Dixon Knitting books to go with it!
